My name is Mike Ran, a professional working out of San Jose, CA with expertise in modern web design and deep social media marketing.

I have 7 years of experience in web and design, from writing specs and managing the development of social networking tools for Seesmic to advertising through SEO for an online marketing company, MediaTrust. Most recently, my work has focused on MMA, including working with Strikeforce, ProElite and Full Contact Fighter.

I studied Biology at the University of California: Santa Barbara and picked up a minor in Professional Writing: Technical and Multimedia Communication. Furthermore, I have a strong interest in film, graphics, and music. I am experienced with an assortment of multimedia editing software and have played the guitar for over 10 years.
